The idea
Eight days with a private guide who shapes each one around the weather rather than the schedule. A descent into the magma chamber of a dormant volcano, a guided glacier hike at Skaftafell, a private zodiac between the icebergs at Fjallsárlón, and the Golden Circle timed to miss the buses. Two nights at a turf roofed retreat with geothermal baths to finish.
What sets it apart
The plan
Open any day to see where you are, where you sleep and what the day holds. The map follows along, and every point on it opens the day that belongs to it.

A hike across the lava to Þríhnúkagígur, then an open cable lift 120 metres down into the magma chamber of a dormant volcano. Icelandic soup afterwards, which you will want.
