A Belizean island, two American city-resort projects and a new Sydney hotel make a useful shortlist for planning ahead. They are not four confirmed 2027 openings. Aman now puts both Miami Beach and Beverly Hills in 2028. Four Seasons Caye Chapel, Belize
Opening position: TravelSort’s June 2026 update reports Q3 2027.
Caye Chapel is planned as Four Seasons’ first private island in the Western Hemisphere. The 280-acre island sits beside the Belize Barrier Reef, with 104 rooms including overwater bungalows, alongside private residences; the developer’s plans also include a beach club, dining and a cenote-inspired spa.
Watch it for an island-based holiday with space, sea and a strong resort element. That is a different brief from staying on the mainland and making a series of inland excursions, so decide whether island time or a broader Belize itinerary matters most.
The reported quarter is a planning target, so confirm guest dates and opening facilities before committing flights.
Aman Miami Beach
Opening position: Aman’s official hotel page says 2028.
Aman Miami Beach is connected to the historic Versailles Hotel in Miami’s Faena District. The project brings hotel accommodation, residences, wellness and dining into a setting already part of the city’s coastal architectural story.
It should suit travellers wanting a calm base without giving up Miami’s restaurants and beach life. This is not the same brief as a remote Aman resort: the appeal is a quieter place to return to after time in the city.
If 2027 is your travel window, consider an operating Miami hotel and keep this one for later.
Aman Beverly Hills
Opening position: Aman’s official page says 2028.
Aman Beverly Hills forms part of One Beverly Hills, with botanical gardens and pedestrian walkways important to the proposal. The published concept brings together a hotel, residences, an Aman Club, wellbeing and dining.
Watch it if Los Angeles interests you but you want private hotel time between appointments, shopping or cultural visits. A Beverly Hills stay and a beach-focused Los Angeles stay answer different needs.
When reservations open, check which members’ and residential facilities hotel guests can access.
Waldorf Astoria Sydney
Opening position: Hilton’s July 2026 announcement describes dining opening in 2027.
One Circular Quay puts this in a different category from the island and American resort projects. The appeal is Sydney’s harbour setting, with Hilton’s announced partnership with Curtis Stone adding two original dining experiences.
Watch it for a Sydney stay at the start or end of a longer Australian trip. Harbour access can become part of your daily rhythm, while actual room-view categories will help you choose where to spend.
Confirm the hotel’s operating date and whether both dining concepts will be open for your stay.
Put the harbour into the Sydney plan
Tell us whether Sydney is the whole trip or one stop within Australia. That changes how long to stay and which room outlook is worth paying for. A harbour address is useful when you want to spend time around the water, but the wider city still deserves room in the itinerary.
